Hundred and ten students and teachers form Nagadeepa Junior School and Maha Vidyalaya participated in a 4day education tour started on 18th April 2012.

 

This education tour was arranged by chief incumbent of Nagadeep Viharaya, Nawadagala Paduma Tissa Nayaka Thero with Sri Lanka Navy’s transport facility. In their tour students visited Anuradapura Ancient City, Sri Lanka Parliament, Colombo Harbor, Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters, Galleface, Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, Elephant orphanage Pinawalla, Botanical garden Peradeniya ,Sigiriya, Mihinthle and one of largest rice mill in Sri Lankia ‘Nipuna rice mill’ and gathered vast knowledge.
